Digitalization has resulted in new challenges and opportunities in numerous sectors such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, internet of things (IoT), etc. In today's rapidly evolving digital world, technological development not only brought changes to our daily lives, work processes, and modes of communication, but also opened a new path for creativity, innovation, and economic growth. However, this digital revolution also presents several challenges in terms of protection of intellectual property rights (IPR), such as maintaining a balance between right holders and users and creating a sustainable environment for future generations.
Sustainability has been a critical issue for many years, and it is crucial to understand its comprehensive role as well as its interaction with IPR. Indeed, it assigned us with a new task to think about how digital IPR can help reach our sustainability goals, shaping a collective future and promoting circular economy models, etc. In light of these considerations, it is essential to foster collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches to maximize the potential of digital IPR in contributing to sustainability, for instance by encouraging various stakeholders to collectively address sustainability challenges, incentivizing and protecting innovative solutions that promote sustainability, or adopting ethical and socially responsible approaches in the creation, use, and management of intellectual property.
디지털화는 인공지능, 블록체인, 사물인터넷(IoT) 등 여러분야에서 새로운 도전과 기회를 가져왔습니다. 오늘날 빠르게 진화하는 디지털 세계에서 기술 발전은 우리의 일상, 업무 프로세스, 의사소통 방식에 변화를 가져왔을 뿐만 아니라 창의성, 혁신, 그리고 경제 성장을 위한 새로운 길을 열었습니다. 그러나 이러한 디지털 혁명은 권리자와 사용자 간의 균형을 유지하고 미래 세대를 위한 지속 가능한 환경을 조성하는 등 지식재산권 보호의 측면에서 여러 과제를 제시하고 있습니다.
지속 가능성은 수년 동안 중대한 문제였으며, 이의 사회 전반을 포괄하는 역할 뿐 아니라 지식재산권과의 상호작용을 이해하는 것이 중요합니다. 특히, 디지털 지식재산권이 지속 가능성 목표에 도달하여 어떻게 포괄적인 미래 를 형성하고, 순환 경제 모델을 촉진하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는지에 대해 생각해 보도록 하는 새로운 과제를 부여했 습니다. 이러한 점들을 비추어 볼 때, 지속가능성에 기여하는 디지털 지식재산권의 잠재력을 극대화하기 위해서는 협력을 촉진하고 학제 간 접근방식을 채택하는 것이 필수적입니다. 예를 들어, 여러 이해관계자들이 지속가능성 문제를 집단적으로 해결할 수 있도록 독려함으로써, 지속 가능성을 촉진하는 혁신적인 해결 방법을 마련하도록 하고 지식재산의 창출, 사용 및 관리에 있어 윤리적이고 사회적으로 책임 있는 접근 방식을 채택하도록 해야 합니다.
