The European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK) would like to invite you to attend the Intercultural Workshop - Understanding Korea (An in-depth look into Korean communication and business patterns) scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024, taking place at Business Center (3F), Seoul Square. During this small-circle workshop, Anton Scholz will share his personal and practical insights of more than 2 decades of intercultural negotiations and coaching and give you access to critical knowledge of dealing with Korea.

This in-depth workshop is well-suited for all people residing in Korea, from business expats to diplomatic corps or anybody who is interested in gaining a deeper understanding why Koreans communicate the way they do and what one needs to learn in order to get a more harmonious and fruitful cooperation with them.

This workshop will look into how Koreans communicate and do business and what one needs to know to better understand their patterns of behavior and communication. Among other things this workshop will focus on some critical points in Korean history that dramatically shaped the Korean self-conception, into classic problems that arise in a Western-Korean communication setting and also share among participants what they have experienced so far themselves. Also, there will be a discussion on how to actually improve the communication with Korean partners and colleagues in the future.

*This workshop is exclusively for ECCK members only.
